Dak Lak (VNA)🧸 – The Public Security Department of Dak Lak province has built and handed over 1,200 houses to local residents.

This is part of the department's efforts to implement the initiative of the Ministry of Public Security (MoPS), the provincial Party Committee and a project on housing support for poor households, social welfare beneficiaries and ethnic people in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak (Project 766). They are 1,098 poor households, 35 social policy beneficiary families, and 67 ethnic minority households that have made significant contributions to the “All people's security safeguarding” movement.
The total funding for Project 766 is 96 billion VND (3.1 million USD). Of this sum, 60 billion VND was mobilised by the MoPS and the rest came from local budget.
During a working visit to Dak Lak province on August 18, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hailed the province’s public security department for its active role in advising and effectively implementing the project. It is a meaningful activity to celebrate the province’s 120th founding anniversary (November 22, 1994-2024). With the involvement of the entire political system and the department's drastic direction, the project was done in half the set time./.
