Jakarta (VNA) - A 6.1-magnitude earthquake rocked Papua Barat, eastern Indonesia in themorning of December 28, but no tsunami warning was issued.
According to theMeteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency of Indonesia, the quakehappened at 10:03 am (local time) with an epicentre in southeast Manokwari at adepth of 26km.
The spokesperson of Indonesia’sNational Agency for Disaster Mitigation said that no damage or casualty hasbeen reported.
