☂ - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam hosted a reception in Hanoi on April 28 for Secretary General of the ruling Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) Party Chakil Aboobabcar, who is on a working visit to Vietnam and attending the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

- State President Luong Cuong visited the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace on April 28 morning, offering incense at House 67 to commemorate the late leader, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025).

- State President Luong Cuong hosted a reception in Hanoi on April 28 morning for Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru, who is on a three-day official visit to Vietnam.

President Cuong, on behalf of the State and people of Vietnam, welcomed PM Ishiba's first visit to Vietnam as head of the Japanese Government. - The spouse of Party General Secretary To Lam, Ngo Phuong Ly, received the spouse of visiting Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru, Ishiba Yoshiko, in Hanoi on April 27, together taking part in a hands-on experience of making 'banh com' – the capital city’s traditional green dessert made from green sticky rice and mung beans.

- A traditional ceramics festival opened in the southern province of Dong Nai on April 27, aiming to honour the traditional pottery-making craft, connect heritage with modernity, and promote the cultural identity of Bien Hoa – Dong Nai to both domestic and international vistors.
