- Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly (NA) Party Committee, and NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a meeting of the NA Party Committee’s Standing Board to review and amend the 2013 Constitution.

The top legislator underlined the importance of the work, noting that the workload is enormous, involving the responsibilities of many agencies and organisations, and is linked to the policy of streamlining and restructuring the political apparatus. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged the Vietnamese youth to promote their pioneering role in three aspects and accelerate efforts in six key areas, thus joining the whole nation to advance to a new era.

Speaking at the award ceremony of the Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Awards 2024 in Hanoi on March 23 night, held on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-2025), PM Chinh underlined that the youth should pioneer in innovative thinking and strategic vision, lead the way in scientific research, technological advancement, and digital transformation, and shape Vietnam’s culture and identity for the global stage. - Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien on March 24 proposed expanding delegation exchanges at all levels to foster mutual understanding, trust, and defence collaboration between Vietnam and Poland.

Key collaboration areas include training, UN peacekeeping operations, defence industry, military medicine, and young officer exchanges, Chien said at his talks with Polish counterpart Pawel Bejda in Hanoi. Read full story

- Vietnam’s National Tuberculosis (TB) Control Programme has achieved its best results to date, with an 89% treatment success rate, surpassing the global average of 88%.

- Vietnamese Culture Week has been held at Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Moscow to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification of Vietnam (April 30, 1975 – 2025).

The event featured a variety of activities designed to showcase the richness and diversity of Vietnamese culture to the international community.
