Asia bridge competition 2024 held in Vietnam

The 2024 Asia bridge competition kicked off on August 27 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho with the participation of 21 teams from 18 universities in Asia.

Can Tho (VNA)𝔉 – The 2024 Asia bridge competition kicked off on August 27 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho with the participation of 21 teams from 18 universities in Asia.

Of the participating teams, 15 teams come from other countries including Japan, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Thailand, and six domestic teams come from the Can Tho University of Technology, the Mien Tay Construction University, the Tra Vinh University and the Can Tho University. Tran Ngoc Hai, Vice Rector of the Can Tho University which hosts the event said this is the first time the competition has been held in Vietnam after 14 editions.
The competition aims to promote the spirit of doing scientific research among students, enhance cultural and academic exchanges, and cooperation among universities in the Asian region.
It is also an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge into practice. The competition runs until August 29. Initiatives presented at the competition are expected to provide an important reference source, contributing to improving the quality of infrastructure projects at home and abroad./.
