The resolution on the informal economy applauded the 2023–2028 national strategy for informal economy development, recognising it as a timely and appropriate response to Cambodia’s socio-economic situation. It highlighted government initiatives such as a decree on labour registration in the informal economy, the formation of digital platforms for stakeholders to register operations, and support in tax, training, finance, and social protection.
