PhnomPenh (VNA) – Cambodiaexported 7.98 million tonnes of agricultural products in 2021, up 63.8 percentyear-on-year, raking in nearly 5 billion USD, according to Ministerof Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Veng Sakhon.
The country's agricultural export value in 2021 increased by nearly11 percent compared to the previous year, the minister cited preliminary statistics of the Cambodian Plant Quarantine Authority.
Cambodia’s farm produce were shipped to68 countries and countries and territories, with main products of rice, rubber,cassava, mangoes, bananas, pepper, corn, among others.
Meanwhile, vice president of the Cambodian Safe Fish, Meat and Vegetables Association Sok Yorn told the Phnom Penh Post last week that thecultivation of fruit and vegetables has enjoyed continuous growth in the pasttwo or three years.
