The value of apparel product exports accounted for 45percent of the country’s total exports of 11.08 billion USD during the period.The US, the EU, the UK and Japan are the major apparel export destinations of Cambodia.
Prime Minister Hun Sen said on September 17 that the garmentsector has received a surge of purchase orders.
This was because of uncertainty of production ingarment-producing countries such as Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Brazil, caused bythe COVID-19 outbreak, he added.
