According to the media, Prague was also among venue options for the first DPRK-USAsummit in June 2018, but finally Singapore was chosen. One of theimportant reasons that the USand the DPRK selected Hanoi for the secondsummit was the good relationship that Vietnamhas with both Washington and Pyongyang, and both the DPRK and the UShave their embassies in Hanoi.
