Eight passengers die, over 20 injured in Laos’ Bolikhamxay traffic accident
Eight passengers were killed and over 20 others were injured after a bus crushed into a truck in Thapabath district, Laos’ Bolikhamxay province on May 1, according to Vientiane Rescue 1623.

Vientiane (VNA)♋ – Eight passengers were killed and over 20 others were injured after a bus crushed into a truck in Thapabath district, Laos’ Bolikhamxay province on May 1, according to VientianeRescue 1623.
The victims include twoBritish, two South African, and one Swedish.
🦂 Thebus was traveling from the southern Lao province when it collided with a truckfrom Vientiane Capital on Route 13 South, 64 kilometers from Vientiane.
Accordingto Vientiane Rescue, about 42 volunteers and nine ambulances, including the firstresponders, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, and hydraulic rescuespecialists were dispatched to the accident scene. Injured passengers were taken to Friendship and Setthathirath hospitalsin Vientiane Capital for treatment. Thecause of the accident is under investigation./.
