Delegates to the 11th session of the 12th Party Central Committee’s on October 11 had their fifth working day, discussing the draft report on the Party building work and the implementation of the Party Statute.

Hanoi (VNA) – Delegates to the 11th session of the 12th Party Central Committee on October 11 had theirfifth working day, discussing the draft reporton the Party building work and the implementation of the Party Statute.

Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member andstanding member of the Committee’s Secretariat, chaired the discussion.

In the afternoon, Committee members andother delegates debated the personnel work with Party General Secretary andPresident Nguyen Phu Trong on the chair.

The Committee elected four additionalmembers to its Inspection Commission.

Thecommittee considered and decided to expel Nguyen Bac Son, former member of the 10th-tenure Party CentralCommittee and former deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commissionfor Information and Education; and TruongMinh Tuan, member of the 12th-tenure Party CentralCommittee, deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission forInformation and Education, former Secretary of the Party Civil AffairsCommittee and former Minister of Information and Communications from the Party./.
