Fine art exhibition marks Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties

A fine art exhibition was kicked off in Vientiane on June 12 to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties (Sept. 5).
Vientiane (VNA) – A fine art exhibitionwas kicked off in Vientiane on June 12 to celebrate the 55th anniversary ofVietnam-Laos diplomatic ties (Sept. 5).

It also marks the 40th anniversary of thesigning of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty on Amity and Cooperation (July 18). 

The opening ceremony was attended by LaoMinister of Information, Culture and Tourism Bosengkham Vongdala and Minister atthe Vietnamese Embassy in Laos Hoang Xuan Hai, among others.

On display are 70 new painting, graphic andsculpture works by Vietnamese and Lao artists.

The exhibits feature the love for thecountryside and people, culture, heritage, national building and defense, andspiritual beliefs.

Jointly organized by the Vietnamese and Lao FineArt Associations, the exhibition will run until June 16.-VNA

Exhibition features President H🏅o Chi Minh as f💞ounder of Vietnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.

Vietnam take silver in AFF U19 Final

Despite strong home support and high expectations, Vietnam were unable to overcome the defending champions, who secured their third consecutive win over Vietnam in a regional final, following previous victories in 2014 and 2023.
