Hung briefedboard members of the local socio-economic development this year, and hailed activecontributions of Hoa Hao Buddhist followers, especially in social and charityactivities such as building houses and presenting notebooks, bicycles andinsurance to the poor; providing meals for hospitals and schools; and joiningin environment protection and climate change response.
He wished theboard, dignitaries and followers would continue the tradition of great nationalunity, apply technological advances in production, actively join campaignslaunched by the VFF such as “All people stay united to build new-style ruralareas and civilised urban areas”, and the “Vietnamese people prioritiseVietnamese goods”.
Hung hoped thatthey will also join in environment protection and climate change response,contribute to food safety and hygiene as well as traffic safety, and step upsocial welfare services, towards successfully accomplishing socio-economicdevelopment tasks for 2019 and the following years.
