Hanoi (VNA) – Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen QuocHung on October 15 called for strengthened cooperation and experience sharingbetween Hanoi and Phnom Penh.

In a reception for visiting Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An inHanoi, Hung said the two localities should expand multifaceted cooperation inthe coming time.

The friendship and cooperation between Hanoi and Phnom Penh in particular andbetween Vietnam and Cambodia in general has been increasingly enhanced, hestressed, expressing the hope that the Cambodian official’s visit willcontribute to further promoting the relations between the two localities andtwo nations.

For her part, Men Sam An highlighted the close relations between the twocountries, saying that the two Parties and States always support each other  in their process of national construction.

She said the recent official visit by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techno HunSen to Vietnam has contributed to promoting the demarcation work as well as expandinginvestment and trade links between the two countries.

TheParty and people of Cambodia never forget the great support by their Vietnamesecounterparts for Cambodia, she stressed.   

She also applauded current cooperation between Phnom Penh and Hanoi, and wishedfor the further development of the friendship and solidarity between the two localitiesin the coming time.

Duringthe meeting, the two sides exchanged experience in directing and managinginspection activities, and in resolving complaints, among other spheres./.
