Indian ambassador visits Telecommunications University in Khanh Hoa
Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma visited the Telecommunications University in Nha Trang city on June 19 as part of his working visit to the central province of Khanh Hoa.

Khanh Hoa (VNA) – Indian Ambassador to Vietnam PranayVerma visited the Telecommunications University in Nha Trang city on June19 as part of his working visit to the central province of Khanh Hoa.
Col.Duong Khanh Toan, vice rector of the university, said the traditional cooperationbetween Vietnam and India have been flourishing and obtained significantachievements in the recent past, especially in defence - security.
The university is maintaining effective cooperation with theIndian Ministry of Defence in various areas, including IT personnel and foreignlanguage training, along with developing and producing IT and telecomsproducts.
He also gave a brief presentation of training and researchactivities at the Indian Government-sponsored IT and foreign language centre,also known as the military software park.
Verma expressed his delight at the achievements andvalues that the centre has created for the training of personnel for theVietnamese army.
The ambassador said he believed that with the Indian Government’s assistancein the second phase, the centre will become the leading establishment for ITand foreign language training for the Vietnamese military and also shine as asymbol of the two countries’ cooperation in human resources development./.
The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) on May 26 jointly organised a dialogue themed “Strengthening the Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership".
Minister of National Defence, General Phan Van Giang and his visiting Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh agreed on future cooperation orientations between the two ministries during their talks in Hanoi on June 8.
