Jakarta (VNA) - Indonesian Foreign MinisterRetno Marsudi discussed several cooperation programmes in the fields of green energy, economy,and counterterrorism during talks with her Danish counterpart Jeppe Kofod.

During his first visit to Indonesia, Kofod and Retno signedtwo cooperation agreements, including an Indonesia-Denmark plan of action (PoA) on a sustainablestrategic partnership for 2021-2024 and a memorandum of understanding (MoU)on infrastructure project financing.

Retno said in a press statement thatthe Indonesia - Denmark strategic partnership continues to develop based onmutual respect and benefit, believing that the updated PoA will allow thenations to produce more concrete collaboration.

Regarding the economic sector, the two foreign ministersagreed to strengthen cooperation to accelerate economic recovery. Retno saidDenmark is Indonesia's second-largest trade, investment and tourism partner in Northern Europe./.
