Indonesia, Russia promote mutually beneficial strategic partnership

Jakarta (VNA) 🦹- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council, in Jakarta on February 25 to discuss strategic issues related to bilateral relations and regional security.

A press release from Indonesia's Presidential Secretariat Office said that this visit is expected to further strengthen the ties between the two countries, leading to the formation of more mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.
It also reaffirms the shared commitment to enhancing their strategic partnership, especially in the security and defence fields, and exploring opportunities for future cooperation. Shoigu earlier visited the headquarters of the Indonesian Ministry of Defence on the same day to explore potential military cooperation schemes with Defence Minister Sjamsoeddin./.
