Bali, the famous “resort paradise” of Indonesia, will have one more international airport in 2024 which will be located at Kubutambahan coast, Buleleng district, along with the current Ngurah Rai Airport which is operating in the southern part of the island.

Jakarta (VNA)– Bali, the famous “resort paradise” of Indonesia, will have one more internationalairport in 2024 which will be located at Kubutambahan coast, Buleleng district,along with the current Ngurah Rai Airport which is operating in the southern part of theisland.

Construction of the project is about to commenceafter PT BIDU Panji Sakti on December 29 signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with China Construction First Group Ltd (CCFG), a subsidiary of Chinesestate-owned construction firm China State Construction (CSCEC).

PT BIBU Panji Sakti and CCFGare currently working together to carry out the project, of which CCFG is themain contractor.

With adesign capacity of receiving 20 million passengers per year, the new airport willrelieve pressure on the existing NgurahRai International Airport💫 in Denpasar city - Indonesia’smain tourist gateway, while balancing tourism between the southern and northernpart of the island./.
