Mitsubishi Outlander Sports cars recalled for door lock faults

Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam (MMV) will recall 88 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports cars manufactured from May 11 to July 18, 2015 to repair and replace their door locks. ​

Hanoi (VNA) –
Mitsubishi MotorsVietnam (MMV) will recall 88 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports cars manufactured fromMay 11 to July 18, 2015 to repair and replace their door locks.

According to the Department of Competition andConsumer Protection under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the cars will berecalled by MMV maintenance service agents from now to January 13, 2021.

MMV will provide free replacement of door locksfor recalled Mitsubishi Outlander Sport cars, which is estimated to take about1-2 hours each.
A representative from the company said theinternal lock function may not work properly, resulting in unsafety.

To protect the legitimate rights and interestsof customers, MMV recommended consumers quickly come to the company’sauthorised agents for assistance and replacement of car door locks.

Customers could directly contact with MMVauthorised service agents or call 0903 999 141 or email service-dept@mitsubishi-motors.com.vn.

They also could call the department’s hotline1800–6838 from 8:30 to 11:30 or 14:00 to 16:30 except Saturdays, Sundays andholidays.-VNA
