Hanoi (VNA) – Myanmar’s Union Parliament on May 5 agreed to discuss adding the Ministry 𒁃of the Office of State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi to th▨e government set-up.
The addition of the new ministry was proposed by President Htin Kyaw.
According to Speaker of the Union Parliament Man Win Khaing Than, the debate will take place on May 10.
Myanmar’s new government, led by President Htin Kyaw, has formed 21 ministries run by 18 ministers, down from the numbers of 36 ministries and 32 ministers of the previous government.
