Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary and President Nguyen PhuTrong on February 1 offered incense to commemorate late President Ho Chi Minhat House No.67 on the occasion of upcoming traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) and89th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Located in the President Ho Chi Minh relic site atthe Presidential Palace, House No. 67 was named after the year 1967 whenit was built, in which the late leader worked and passed away.
Talking with staff and officials of the relic site, Trong expressed his delightover their efforts to preserve and introduce documents and exhibits aboutPresident Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career to local people and internationalfriends.
He hoped they will follow Uncle Ho’s teachings and thoughts as well as promotesolidarity to popularise his ideology, morality and style.
On the occasion, he wished the relic site’s staffers a new year with good healthand prosperity. He asked them to better perform their entrusted missions in2019. -VNA
