Hanoi (VNA) –
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc onFebruary 1 offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh and other seniorrevolutionaries on the occasion of the 89th founding anniversary ofthe Party (February 3) and the coming traditional lunar New Year.

At House 67 inside the Presidential Palace complex where PresidentHo Chi Minh breathed his last, Phuc and his deputy Vu Duc Dam offered incensein memory of the nation’s beloved leader.

In the morning the same day, PM Phuc and Politburo membersTruong Hoa Binh, permanent Deputy Prime Minister; Pham Minh Chinh, head of theParty Central Committee’s Commission on Organization; and Defence Minister NgoXuan Lich offered incense to late Party General Secretary Le Duan, anoutstanding leader of the Party whose name was closely associated to thevictories of Vietnam’s revolution in the 20th century.

Also in the morning of February 1, the Government leaderoffered incense in memory of General Vo Nguyen Giap and General Nguyen ChiThanh.-VNA
