Polish President meets former Vietnamese students in Poland

Addressingthe event, President Andrzej Duda said former Vietnamese students in Poland playa significant role in the Vietnam – Poland traditional friendship, describingthem as Poland’s ambassadors to Vietnam, who help introduce Polish knowledgeand culture to Vietnamese people.
Currently,there are 300 Vietnamese students in Poland, he said, expressing his hope thatthe figure will increase in the coming time.
ThePresident stressed that his visit aims to foster the friendship and cooperativeties between the two nations.
He hopesthat more Vietnamese students will learn Polish language and more Polishliterary works will be translated into Vietnamese.
President ofthe Vietnam – Poland Friendship Association Pham Khoi Nguyen highlighted thecapability and skills of those who received training in Poland thanks to the Europeancountry’s high-quality education system.
He also expressedthe delight of formers Vietnamese students in Poland over the socio-economicachievements Polish people have gained over the past years.
He hopedthat the Polish President’s visit will help consolidate the friendship andcomprehensive cooperation in all fields between the two nations, up to theirtraditional friendship and huge cooperation potential.
On theoccasion, a number of Vietnamese individuals were honoured with Poland’sdecorations for their outstanding contribution to the Vietnam – Polandfriendship and cultural exchanges.
