Presidential Office asked to brace for important tasks in 2025

The State leader praised the office's achievements in 2024, with the handling of a heavy workload amid many difficulties.
A report from the office showed that in the year, it has consistently provided timely proposals and advice for the work programmes of the State President and Vice President. It has prepared for and organised many major meetings to support the State President in performing important tasks of the Party Central Committee.
The office swiftly implemented the President’s decisions on granting amnesty to 3,767 prisoners on the occasion of National Day (September 2). It successfully carried out receptions for foreign heads of state, and organised overseas business trips of the State President and Vice President.
Looking ahead, he asked the office to closely coordinate with relevant agencies, especially the Party Central Committee's Office to contribute ideas and proposals on the draft plan on the establishment of a Party Organisation of Central Party Agencies. At the same time, the office should focus on preparing for the ninth congress of its Party Organisation, President Cuong requested.
Noting that in 2025, the patriotic emulation congresses at all levels will be held towards the 11th national congress, he asked the office to give advice to State leaders on summarising the emulation and commendation work and directing localities to carry out their own congress.
Particularly, the State leader underlined the crucial need for the office to strongly promote digital transformation to enhance the operating efficiency of the whole office as well as each staff.
The office must be an exemplary State agency in implementing Resolution on the organisational apparatus restructuring, ensuring that its structure is truly efficient, streamlined, and strong.
Along with focusing on Party building, the office must strengthen solidarity and unity and promote innovation, he asked.
At the meeting, President Cuong presented awards to collectives and individuals with outstanding performance in 2024./.
