Russian, Thai firms sign MoU on helicopter maintenance centre

Russian Helicopters and Thailand’s Datagate Co. Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in setting up a maintenance service centre for Russian-made helicopters.

– Russian Helicopters and Thailand’s Datagate Co. Ltd.have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in setting up amaintenance service centre for Russian-made helicopters.

The signing took place at the Singapore Airshow which is beingheld in the island state from February 6-11.

The centre will provide maintenance, repair and replacement of components andengines.

The parties identified an opportunity to supply spare parts and repair ofcomponents of civil helicopters under separate contracts.

A contract for repair of components for Russian-produced Mi-class helicopterswas also signed at the exhibition.

In April 2016, Moscow agreed to establish an aviation equipment maintenancecentre in Thailand.-VNA
