Hanoi (VNA) – The steering committee for the strategy on building and perfecting a rule-of-law socialist State till 2030 with a vision towards 2045 held a working session with the Party Delegations of the Vietnam Lawyers Association (VLA) and the Vietnam Bar Federation (VBF) in Hanoi on July 15 to collect feedback on the project.
Chairing the event, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, head of the committee, lauded the VLA and the VBF for their efforts in building and consolidating the policy and legal systems and ensuring human rights, thus contributing to judicial protection.
They also contributed opinions on thematic projects, especially the strategy on judicial reform by 2030 with a vision towards 2045 launched by the Party Central Committee's Commission for Home Affairs, the leader noted.
According to the President, the project will further highlight the role of the association and the federation in building a rule-of-law socialist State.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a working session with the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Justice on July 7 to collect ideas to complete a draft strategy on building and perfecting a rule-of-law socialist state until 2030 with a vision to 2045.

Stronger efforts and determination are required to achieve and surpass the set targets, especially in the eradication of makeshift and dilapidated houses nationwide, the acceleration of public investment disbursement, and the implementation of nationally important transport projects, PM Pham Minh Chinh noted.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The show, together with a grand parade to be held silmutaneously at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day, and the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA).
In particular, in April 2023, the two sides successfully carried out a joint operation that dismantled a major organised, transnational drug trafficking ring involving both Vietnamese and Cambodian suspects.
