The youth federations of Vietnam’s southern Tay Ninh province and the Cambodian neighbouring province of Svay Rieng signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for the 2018-2022 period.
Tay Ninh (VNA) – The youth federations of Vietnam’s southern Tay Ninh province and theCambodian neighbouring province of Svay Rieng signed a memorandum of understandingon cooperation for the 2018-2022 period on September 12.
Under the deal, thetwo sides will share experience and support each other in youth volunteercampaigns, as well as recreational, social welfare and humanitarian activities.
They will exchangeknowledge in agricultural and industrial development, and vocational trainingto support youngsters in economic development.
The two sides willwork together in organising sport events or exchanges among youngsters of thetwo provinces, while holding contests to explore arts, culture and history ofboth sides, along with field trips for youngsters.
Addressing the signingceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Pham Van Tan laudedthe contents of the deal, while pledging to create optimal conditions for thetwo sides to promote their strengths in building the shared border of peace,friendship and prosperity.
Meanwhile, Svay RiengGovernor Men Vibol said that the signing of the agreement showed the sound friendshipand cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam.
The two countries haveworked closely together in reinforcing peace, friendship and cooperation formutual benefit, thus contributing to boosting economic development and ensuresocial security in border area.
