Bangkok (VNA)♒ –The cremation of Thailand’slate King Bhumibol Adulyadej will take place on October 26, announcedGovernment spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd on April 25.

Speaking with reporters, Sansern said that afuneral for the late King will be held for five days, starting from October 25.
Thailand’s cabinet announced that October26 will be a national holiday for people across the country to pay tribute tolate King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who passed away on October 13 last year at 88. The official coronation of King MahaVajiralongkorn will be held after the cremation of the late King.-VNA
