Thailand's aviation industry tends to grow continually

President of the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Sarinee Angsusingha said the Thai aviation industry is expected to grow continually, after the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) lifted the "red flag" status on the country last year.
Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - President of the AeronauticalRadio of Thailand Sarinee Angsusingha said the Thai aviation industry isexpected to grow continually, after the International Civil AviationOrganization (ICAO) lifted the "red flag" status on the country lastyear. 

Sarinee said she will propose the air traffic managementpolicy to the cabinet meeting for approval soon. 

She said her agency will also form a working group to ensureair traffic security and monitor factors that may affect flights. 

Thailand is predicted to rank among the top ten countrieswith the highest passenger growth rate in the world within the next 20 years,with an average number of nearly three million flights a year.

The current number is approximately one million flights a year.-VNA
