Hanoi (VNA) – USPresident Donald Trump will call President of the Republic of Korea (RoK) MoonJae-in on February 28 night to brief him on the outcomes of his second meetingwith the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong-un.

According to the RoK’s Presidential Residence (Blue House), the call is likelyto take place around 10 p.m (Vietnam time), around the time when the US Presidentis slated to leave Hanoi for home after the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam.

The Blue House’s spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom said the RoK side has asked the USPresident to make the call before his departure.

President Trump earlier had promised to explain the outcomes of his meetingwith Chairman Kim to the RoK President the soonest possible.

Following the first summit between the two leaders in Singapore in June lastyear, President Trump called President Moon while heading home on board Air ForceOne.

The second summit between US President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong-unended without any joint statement being issued, the White House announced.-VNA
