VOV to broadcast live AFF Suzuki Cup matches

Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has signed a deal with Next Media and Green Communications to broadcast live all matches of the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018.

Hanoi (VNA)– Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has signed a deal with Next Media andGreen Communications to broadcast live all matches of the upcoming ASEANFootball Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018.

From November 8, sports lovers in Vietnam will be able to watch the AFFSuzuki Cup 2018 on sports channels including VTC3, VOV2, VOVGT, onlinenewspaper VOV.VN, and VTC News.

The AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 will take place from November 8 to December 15 with 26matches among 10 teams. 

Vietnam’s national men’s football team is in Group A together with Malaysia,Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.

This year, the AFF Suzuki Cup will feature a new playing format, with both homeand away ties.

Vietnam will face bordering country Laos in their first match on November 8.The country’s second match will be against Malaysia on November 16 at MyDinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

Four days later, on November 20, the national team will play against Myanmar.

The champions will be awarded a cash prize of 200,000 USD. The runners-up willbe given 75,000 USD, while two third-prize winning teams will be handed 50,000USD each.-VNA
