Hanoi (VNA) – The CambodianHealth Ministry on June 21 reported 735 more COVID-19 cases in the past 24hours, raising the total infections in the country to 43,446.
Among the new cases, 708 were local transmissionsand 27 were imported ones.
With10 deaths related to the disease on the same day, the total fatalities hasreached 441.
To counter the virus spread, the Phnom Penhauthorities decided to continue preventing mass gatherings and othernon-essential activities from June 20 to July 3.
Also on June 21, the number of infections in Indonesia surpassed2 million when the country's Health Ministry confirmed additional 14,536 cases, a recordsince January 30.
The country also logged 294 deaths, raising the total to 54,956.
Its Government also decided to extend micro-scale community activities restriction (PPKM) from June 22 to July 5 in areas where COVID-19 cases spiked.
