Cultural, art activities mark Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties
A range of cultural and art activities will be held to mark the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia and their friendship year in 2022.

Hanoi (VNA) – A range of cultural and art activities will be held to mark the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia and their friendship year in 2022.
Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong has signed Decision No. 1520/QD-BVHTTDL approving a project on the organisation of the activities.
Accordingly, a Vietnamese Culture Week will take place from August 9-14 in the Cambodian cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap featuring the culture, land, people, tourism and education of Vietnam.
Art programmes, both traditional and temporary, during the week will be staged by Vietnamese artists.
The two sides will also sign a cooperation plan in culture and arts for 2023-2027.
🍷 Meanwhile, a Cambodian Culture Week will be held in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City and southern Tra Vinh province from September 27 to October 2./.
The Permanent Delegations of Vietnam and Cambodia to the United Nations (UN) co-organised a ceremony to mark the 55 years of the two countries’ diplomatic relations on June 24 in New York.

The late leader understood the press's role not only as a means to reflect the country’s realities but also as a powerful tool to strengthen national unity and inspire the resistance wars and national construction process.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
The VNA delegation, led by General Director Vu Viet Trang, actively participated in the event, engaging in both professional and diplomatic activities.
