Ha Giang (VNA) – Leaders of northern꧋ mountainous province of Ha Giang and the Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of China’s Yunnan province have agreed to promote exchange and multifaceted links in a practical and effective manner in the tim🌌e ahead.

During a meeting with Vice Secretary of the Chinese locality’s Party committee Zhang Xiulan on the occasion of her working visit to Ha Giang on August 2-3, Chairman of Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son suggested increasing visits by the two sides’ officials and fostering trade and investment cooperation.
Zhang Xiulan said the Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture wishes to further strengthen cooperation with Ha Giang in many fields, towards bolstering the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership, and the ties between the two localities in particular.
On the occasion, the two sides approved and signed a minute on the opening of a customs clearance entrance at the Thanh Thuy (Ha Giang)-Tian Bao (Yunnan) international border gate. The Chinese delegation later visited the Binh Vang Industrial Park in Ha Giang. The two localities signed a cooperation programmes for 2016-2020 six months ago. Since then, the two sides have exchanged two high-level delegations and held 67 exchanges. Ha Giang’s border guard force has maintained close contact and shared experience with the Chinese counterpart.-VNA
