Hanoi (VNA) – General Secretary of the CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong has offered congratulationsto Xi Jinping on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party ofChina (CPC) Central Committee.
In his message, the Vietnamese leader alsocongratulated the 19th CPC National Congress on its success while highlyvaluing the creative development of the theory of building socialism withChinese characteristics in the new era.
He expressed his belief that under theleadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi being the core, the entire CPCand Chinese people will definitely fulfil the tasks set by the Congress andsoon achieve the target of basically realising socialist modernisation so as tobuild China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong,democratic, civilised, harmonious and beautiful.
He also appreciated the CPC General Secretary’sgood sentiment and friendly attitude towards Vietnam and his importantcontributions to Vietnam-China relations over the past years.
General Secretary Trong added he hopes Vietnamand China will together continue to develop the countries’ traditional friendshipand comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership for the sake of the twopeoples and for peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the world.
